BRIGHT at River City Pride

June 7, 2025 was a joyful blur of color, music, and community. BRIGHT showed up to help keep the celebration shining. Our Trash Pandas crew hit the grounds with grabbers and good humor, and our folks at the Free Mom Hugs booth spent the afternoon sharing care and support with anyone who needed it.

Trash Pandas Anna, Zac, and Little Bird volunteered for cleanup all day, making sure the festival looked as welcoming at sunset as it did at the first drumbeat. Heather and Little Bird also volunteered at the Free Mom Hugs booth, offering hugs, high fives, and a steady presence for anyone who wanted a reminder that they are loved.

Bri brought even more color to the day with her art. She shared her love of creativity through Bubbles and Brushes, spreading joy with every piece. If you’d like to support her work, you can find it at Bubbles and Brushes.

This is who we are. BRIGHT is people power in motion. We connect neighbors, spread care, and show up where it counts. We believe in radical kindness, inclusive community, and the simple truth that small acts add up. We keep things practical and human. Pick up the litter. Share the snack. Offer the hug. Make the space feel safe and seen.

River City Pride brought out the best of Evansville. Thank you to the organizers, vendors, performers, and every person who danced, marched, volunteered, and cheered. If you want in on this kind of good trouble, join us. Lend a hand with the Trash Pandas. Help with hospitality at an event. Share a talent or a bright idea. There is a place for you at BRIGHT, and your presence makes a difference.
