On October 31st, Bright headed to Tepe Park for the Second Annual Trunk or Treat. The park filled with costumes, laughter, and the steady flow of kids moving from trunk to trunk with candy buckets in hand.
Bright showed up in full Sanderson Sisters form.
Wigs. Dresses. Big energy. A little spooky and a lot of fun.
Trunk or Treat events work because they are simple and safe. Families can relax. Kids can focus on the fun. Community groups get a chance to show up in a way that feels playful instead of formal. This one hit all of that.
What stood out most was the pace. No rush. No pressure. Just neighbors sharing a night together. We love events like this because we can meet people where they already are. No barriers. No expectations. Just presence.
Thank you to Tepe Park for hosting and for creating a space that centers families and fun. And thank you to everyone who stopped by the Sanderson Sisters trunk, laughed with us, and made Halloween feel like a shared experience instead of just a date on the calendar.
We left tired, hoarse, and happy. Exactly how Halloween should end.
