A Downtown Christmas and an unexpected friend

On December 6, 2025, Anna and Heather headed to Main Street for A Downtown Christmas. The street was full of activity with people moving slowly with hot drinks, cold hands, and a reindeer or two.

They wandered through the crowd, stopping to look in shop windows and listen to the sounds drifting down the street. Laughter mixed with carols. Kids pulled parents toward anything that sparkled.

One stop stood out.

They ducked into Your Brothers Bookstore, a place that already feels like a refuge on a normal day. Inside, the mood shifted from cozy to playful chaos in the best way. Krampus was there.

Yes, that Krampus.

Anna and Heather jumped at the chance to get photos. The contrast was perfect. Holiday cheer meets a little mischief. Smiles all around, a little nervous laughter, and the kind of photos that instantly become favorites.

It was one of those simple moments that sticks. No big plan. No rush. Just showing up, saying yes, and letting the day surprise you.

Downtown Christmas delivered exactly what it should. Community connection, joy, and a story worth telling later.

Inside a bookstore, two women stand smiling on either side of a seated person dressed as Krampus. Krampus wears a horned mask, dark fur costume, and holds a tall wooden staff. Bookshelves, framed art, and holiday decorations fill the space. The women wear casual winter clothes and pose close to Krampus for a playful holiday photo.
